Our new website is now live and we hope you like it. The site has been designed to complement our print brochure (download it here) and we believe it is a worthy replacement for our previous web presence, which had been online for over six years!
We are grateful for the sterling development work done by Wildweb in South Africa. A big thank you to Paul, Mike, Jono and Duncan. You have done a great job for us and we are happy to recommend you!
Integral to the new website is the inclusion of social networking features. In particular, there are now links to our Facebook page, Twitter feed and of course this blog! There is also a new newsletter design and we encourage you to sign up here for regular news from Ras Nungwi. Please also like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter if you would like to hear our updates via your newsfeed or timeline.
Thanks for visiting!

More events to be added soon!
Founded in 1996, the dive centre at Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel was the first PADI centre on Zanzibar and is now approved as a PADI Five Star Instructor Development Centre (IDC). It is operated by Zanzibar Watersports, who run a number of excellent centres on the island.
Daily dive trips are available including visits to the breathtaking Mnemba Atoll and over 20 other dive sites. Diver education from beginner to professional level is available on-site and the most popular courses for Ras Nungwi guests are the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver qualifications.
In addition to diving, Zanzibar Watersports also offers regular snorkelling trips, traditional dhow sailing cruises, water-skiing, windsurfing, kayaking and big game fishing. With a year round average water temperature of 27 degrees, what better reason to take the plunge and enjoy the Indian Ocean at its finest!
